Arett Sales Enhances Warehouse Picking System
Arett Sales Corporation, a leading full service distributor of lawn and garden supplies headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ, announced today that it had completed its upgrade of the Knighted warehouse management system in its Bristol, CT warehouse. The upgrade, which includes an RF picking module, was implemented in Arett’s Cherry Hill, NJ warehouse in 2005.

Arett Sales distributes lawn and garden hard goods and outdoor living supplies to garden centers, hardware stores and home centers in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Tennessee. Arett has over 500,000 square feet of space in its two warehouses. Arett’s Import Division sources products overseas including proprietary products for the lawn and garden market under the Terra Verde label, for the Christmas market under the Christmas by Frosty label, and for the dollar store trade under various Works labels. Other Arett divisions include Good Prod Sales, a horticultural tools and supplies division, serving professional landscapers; Greensmith Graphics, Arett’s in-house advertising department which produces circulars, signage and point of purchase marketing materials for retailers; and Arett Outsource, a third party warehousing division, which provides logistical solutions for retailers and manufacturers nationally.
